Chase pending payer enrollments without the hold music
Payer enrollment has one public status and it is "in process". Agent FM gets you the real one: every Wednesday it logs into Availity for the commercial payers and PECOS for Medicare, pulls where each pending application actually sits, and notes what the stuck ones are waiting on, documents, signatures, or payer review. The tracker gets the status and the date checked, application by application. If a portal offers to edit or resubmit anything, it stops and flags you rather than touching the filing. The answer to "what is this one stuck on" becomes a glance at a column instead of an afternoon on hold.
Check the status of every pending payer enrollment on [tracker, e.g. the Enrollments tab of the credentialing sheet]. Log into each payer portal, Availity for the commercial payers and PECOS for Medicare, and pull the current application status.
Note what each stuck application is waiting on: documents, signatures, or payer review. Update the tracker with the status and the date you checked.
If a portal offers to edit or resubmit an application, stop and flag it for me instead. Tell me the final count and which portals you couldn't get into.
