Log the week's rate cons before you leave on Friday
Friday at four, the rate cons are scattered through the inbox and the margin tracker still thinks it's Tuesday. Agent FM closes the week: it works through the Rate Cons label, logs each load's number, lane, carrier rate, and shipper rate, matches every con against the shipper side in the loads tab, and flags any load where one side is missing. It reads and logs only, replying to nothing. Margin stops being a number you estimate on the drive home and becomes a tracker that agrees with the inbox, even on the weeks nobody had time.
Go through the inbox for this week's rate confirmations [where, e.g. the Rate Cons label in Gmail] and log each into the margin tracker.
Per load: load number, lane, carrier, carrier rate, shipper rate, and margin. Match each carrier rate con to the shipper rate in the loads tab, and flag any load where one side is missing.
