Agent FM cannot use the current page
Agent FM works on regular HTTP(S) webpages. Chrome internal pages, browser settings, and the Chrome Web Store are not supported. Check Settings → Sites if you previously blocked the site.
A task is waiting
Open the side panel. Agent FM may be waiting for your approval, sign-in, a page to finish loading, or another task using the same tab. Select Stop to end the run. A browser action already in progress may finish before the stop request takes effect.
A scheduled Routine did not run
Scheduled work requires Chrome to be open. After Chrome reopens, Agent FM may run one missed occurrence. Confirm the Routine is active, its source pages are available, and your Agent FM account is signed in.
Spoken updates or notifications are missing
Check Agent FM Settings and Chrome's notification settings. Spoken updates and result notifications can be enabled independently. Spoken updates are selective, so Agent FM may remain silent when an event does not merit an interruption.
Speak cannot use the microphone
Select Speak. The first time, Agent FM opens a small setup window for Chrome's microphone prompt. If access was denied, open microphone settings from Agent FM, allow the extension, and retry. The transcript appears in the composer for review and is not sent automatically.

Why Agent FM requests browser access
Agent FM is a general browser tool, so Chrome asks for permissions covering the webpages and actions you may choose later. Those permissions support features you start or configure.
- Page access
- Reads and works with supported webpages needed for tasks, including multi-tab work.
- Browser control
- Takes screenshots and performs requested clicks, typing, scrolling, and navigation.
- Downloads
- Starts a page download you request or saves a diagnostic file you explicitly export.
- Identity
- Signs you in to Agent FM.
- Notifications and audio
- Alerts you about background results, plays spoken updates you enable, and transcribes audio after you select Speak.
- Storage
- Keeps settings, tasks, Workflows, Routines, and results in your Chrome profile.
- Schedules and navigation
- Runs watches and Routines you configure and follows the pages involved in that work.
